Kyoto, Japan — Coarobo GK provided an experimental analysis of an autonomous robot navigation system at the request of Panasonic Corporation to optimize the accuracy and comfort of its motions.
During three consecutive days, Gustavo Garcia, Vice President & Founder of Coarobo GK, and Luis Yoichi Morales, Research Advisor for autonomous navigation, conducted several experiments at the Keihanna Open Innovation Center @Kyoto (KICK) accompanied by engineers from Panasonic. Combining their expertise with motion capture, they performed an on-field optimization of the navigation parameters along predefined test trajectories. Their data, results, and conclusions were reported to Panasonic for further improvement of the navigation of mobile robots.
