Coarobo GK Contributed to the 2020 WRS FCSC Winning Solution
Aichi, Japan — Coarobo GK contributed to the autonomous navigation system of the solution that won the Future Convenience Store Challenge (FCSC) at the 2020 METI/NEDO World Robot Summit (WRS 2020).
During two consecutive days, Luis Yoichi Morales, Research Advisor for autonomous navigation, performed serveral optimizations to stenghten the autonomous navigation system of Team NAIST-RITS-Panasonic (NaRiPa)'s robotic solution in preparation for the competition at the request of Panasonic Corporation. Thanks to the efforts of everyone involved, the solution was successfully deployed during the competition and ultimately reached the 1st Place.
