Abstract
"Robotics is one of the most rapidly advancing arms of automation technology making a difference to productivity, efficiency and safety in several different verticals. Reliable information on existing projects and pilots is key to the continued advance and application of these technologies. So, too, is already established software but in a competitive and corporate world, these are difficult to find. Enter Coarobo GK, a company that provides research consulting services for service robotics and artificial intelligence deployments. Its founders jointly realized the value of open-source information and software in this space after implementing a custom solution from scratch for their winning robotics solution at the Airbus Shopfloor Challenge 2016.
