Coarobo GK Officially Registered as a Research Institution on Japan's Cross-Ministerial Research and Development Management System (e-Rad)

Kyoto, JapanFebruary 6, 2024

Coarobo GK is pleased to announce its official registration as a research institution on e-Rad , Japan's Cross-Ministerial Research and Development Management System, operated jointly by the relevant Japanese ministries and agencies. Coarobo GK has been assigned the Research Institution Code 6000010076, formally recognizing the company as a research institution eligible to apply for government-funded competitive research grants and programs in Japan.

e-Rad is the unified government platform used across Japanese ministries and agencies for the management of competitive research funding applications. Registration on e-Rad is a prerequisite for organizations seeking to apply for government-funded research programs in Japan, and is granted exclusively to institutions that meet the required criteria for research activity. This formal recognition reflects Coarobo GK's ongoing engagement in original research and development at the intersection of robotics, software, and systems integration.

Being registered as a research institution on e-Rad is a meaningful milestone for Coarobo GK. It formally acknowledges our research activities and opens the door to government-funded collaborative research programs that can accelerate our work in open-source robotics software.

Lotfi El Hafi, Representative of Coarobo GK

With this registration, Coarobo GK is now eligible to apply for competitive research funding administered through Japanese government agencies, including programs operated by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), and other relevant ministries and agencies. Coarobo GK remains committed to advancing robotics research and to building partnerships with academic and industrial organizations through government-supported initiatives.
