Coarobo GK Unveils Coarobo Sightline, an Extended Reality Interface to Observe and Teleoperate Robots from Inside Their Workspace

Kyoto, JapanJuly 27, 2026

Coarobo GK is pleased to unveil Coarobo Sightline, an extended reality (XR) interface for physical robots and AI that lets operators observe and teleoperate robots from inside their workspace. Its product page and its product demonstration video went online on July 27, 2026, and Coarobo GK now offers pilot deployments of Coarobo Sightline on the robots of its clients.

Robots act in the three dimensions of the physical world, yet operators usually watch and steer them from flat screens set apart from the scene, and must translate what they see back into the space where the robot works. Coarobo Sightline brings the operator into that space instead. It draws the model of the robot, its point clouds, its laser scans, and its camera images at true scale, where they belong in the room. Operators drive the arm and the gripper of the robot with controllers, with their hands, or with a stylus, and can command the robot from a third-person view outside its body. Once the robot has been aligned with the physical site, the alignment is reused in the following sessions.

Following the reality-virtuality continuum, operators choose how much of the scene stays real to match each task. They can see the real site alone, the robot and its sensor data over the real room in augmented reality (AR), a virtual reconstruction of the room while on site in augmented virtuality (AV), or a fully virtual space in virtual reality (VR) for simulated robots.

Coarobo Sightline connects to robots through the Robot Operating System (ROS), and operators can switch between robots while the application runs. They can also rehearse a task on a digital twin of the robot in simulation, then carry it out on the real robot through the same interface.

Coarobo GK invites companies and research teams that operate robots to discuss a pilot deployment of Coarobo Sightline on their own robots.

Operators should see what a robot senses where it senses it, not on a separate screen. Coarobo Sightline lets them stand inside the workspace of a robot. We look forward to bringing it to the robots of our clients, starting with pilot deployments.
